The remote firing system is an advanced technology introduced in the firing system sector to incorporate innovative features and upgrade the existing system. The remote firing system contains four firing options which include manual, sequence, step, and scripted. Link quality features are associated with remote firing module which enables it to measure signal strength of each firing position. A general ‘in range’ feature can measure whether receiving a signal is possible, whereas the link quality feature can measure true strength of signal. The synchronization between remote, and firing module is necessary for communication. After synchronization, the firing module will only respond to the remote to which the synchronization has been done. This is due to the unique, internationally registered address which is saved into the firing module. The firing module will respond to the remote with this address only.
Remote firing systems are majorly equipped with blast boxes which are equipped with radio antennas and modems which allows users to operate non-electric blasts remotely and conveniently from a safe distance or chosen point-of-safety.
Growing demand for worker’s safety to avoid any accidents and more reliable firing systems are the major factors which are expected to drive the global remote firing systems market during the forecast period. Furthermore, strong demand for long cues and increasing events, theatres effects may fuel the growth of the remote firing systems market over the forecast period. Moreover, elimination of messy or faulty cables due to wireless remote firing systems, enormous reduction in working hours, short firing delay of the system, integration of parallel-operated radio systems which avoids accidental misfires, are some of the other driving factors for the adoption of remote firing systems market.
