  • New Web Shopping Platform Says It Can Trump Big Deal Sites And Is Willing To Give Away Equity To Prove It

(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 10, 2011 ) Hopewell Township, NJ - November 10, 2011. A new online shopping platform called iAsk4 is confident it can trump big deal sites like Groupon and others by improving how America shops. To fulfill its goal the startup is seeking a launch partner.

The site was designed and built over the last two years into what iAsk4 investors call a “sophisticated and functioning prototype”. It could be ready for launch in thirty days or less after some minor enhancements and streamlining.

“Our goal”, says Gordon Filepas of TGM Partners, one of iAsk4’s creators and investors, “was to create what we believe is a better overall business model for manufacturers, advertisers, stores and consumers while being kind to our planet. iAsk4 was designed to provide more control, features and benefits to all parties involved. Everyone we’ve told about iAsk4 says they would use it multiple times per week because it just makes sense.”

Critics of traditional deal sites say they are one-sided and easily copied. Random deals are simply pushed to prospective users and copying this model is easy as evidenced by the hundreds of companies that are now competing in this space. iAsk4 owners say theyÂ’ve created a totally different and completely sustainable business model that, according to their forecast, has the potential to double the revenue of the largest deal site with only half as many users.

iAsk4 utilized angel investments to get this far and has decided to seek a partner company that already has millions of users and may be looking for a new revenue stream or to increase revenue per user, rather than seek venture capital. iAsk4 investors believe their innovative platform will provide a huge funnel that brings many new users to a partnerÂ’s core business, as well.

Filepas says they are very motivated to bring iAsk4 to market and will consider donating the majority equity interest to the partner they ultimately choose to work with to demonstrate their confidence in their platform. Companies they hope to target as potential partners include Google, Facebook, Amazon, AOL, Verizon, Comcast and numerous others. “We’ve been told that if Google, Facebook or Amazon had iAsk4 right now they could dominate the online shopping market very quickly” he says.

iAsk4 is also willing to donate up to 5% equity ownership to anyone who introduces them to a potential partner they choose to do business with. “Given this sluggish economy that could last years, advertisers and consumers need a better way to achieve their goals right now. Now is a perfect time to launch iask4”, says Filepas.
